I figured out that I wanted to share something with you, so I used all yesterday to dig up some photos I hope you can enjoy. As I’ve said earlier I do have a lot of fun when I get dressed. It actually reminds me a bit of the time when I was little and played dress-up. It was one of my favorite things; and the photos are facts of that. Here is the start of my growing interest for fashion:
Helt fra den tid da jeg enda ikke hadde gitt opp sutten og rotet i farmors kommodeskuff forstod jeg verdien av secondhand. Ikke minst forstod jeg at kortkort er hot! Det gjør ikke noe om det ser ut som man har glemt underdel; jo kortere jo bedre!
Translation: Even from the time when I was a little girl messing around in my grandmothers wardrobe I understood the value of secondhand. Not least I understood that shortshort is hot! It doesn’t matter if it looks like you have forgotten to dress below; the shorter the better!
Nå er det snart høst, og jeg gleder meg til å kunne kle meg i lag på lag igjen..
Translation: Now it’s soon fall, and I’m looking forward to dressing up in layers again..
Kreativ kan jeg ikke nekte for at jeg var. Et hoppetau kan fort bli hippiebånd, og noen blader kan gi samme effekten som flotte fjær.
Translation: I can’t denie the fact that I was creative. A jumpingrope can soon become hippiehairband, and some leaves can give the same effect as great feathers.
Det var ikke bare de der hjemme som fikk glede seg over mine lekre kreasjoner. I barnehagen viste jeg siste bademote på catwalken til alles begeistring. Inkludert paparazzien i bakgrunnen.
Translation: It wasn’t just the ones at home that was able to enjoy themselves over my beautiful creations. In kindergarden I was showing swimwear on the catwalk to everybodys amusement - Included the paparazzi in the background.
Hvem var først ute med røde strømpebukser dere?!
Translation: Who was the first to wear red tights?!
Blomstermønster og blonder i en herlig mix.
Translation: Flowerpattern and lace in a lovely mix.
Jeg lot meg også inspirere av dyreverdenen. Dyremønster var ikke nok, jeg tok den heller fullt ut. Skal det være så skal det være!
Translation: I also let myself be inspired by the animalworld. Animalpattern wasn’t enough. If it is going to be, it is going to be.
Det er sant som sies: Markerte øyebryn gir ansiktet et helt nytt uttrykk.
Translation: It is true what they say: Marked eyebrows does give the face a whole new expression.
Ikke bare stylet jeg meg selv; jeg stylet også andre. Her er min bror, også kjent som bloggens fotograf, med makeup og outfit by Lena.
Translation: Not only did I style myself; I also styled others. Here is my brother, also known as the photographer of the blog, with makeup and outfit by Lena.
Til slutt vil jeg bare si; tilbehør gir noe ekstra til et antrekk!
Translation: In the end I’d just like to say; accessories does add something extra to an outfit!
